Gli organizzatori, l’atmosfera, l’accoglienza (quanto mi piace essere coccolata!). I Progetti lettura durano mesi, sono veri e coinvolgenti, gli insegnanti motivati, i bambini e le bambine entusiasti dei libri. Felici di leggere.
Mi capita spesso di tornare a casa dopo un incontro e pensare: “Dovrebbero prendere esempio dal Gutenberg”. Poi però mi dico che non è possibile. Di Gutenberg ce n’è uno solo, purtroppo…

Questo anno sono stata invitata per la prima volta al festival di letteratura per ragazzi Gutenberg. È stata una esperienza meravigliosa! Ho incontrato insegnanti motivate che fanno il loro lavoro con amore e entusiasmo e ragazzi bravissimi. Sono stata in scuole elementari e medie accolta ovunque con manifesti,canzoni, fiori, amore e una torta gigantesca con la copertina del mio libro.. Ho scoperto che lì i libri hanno ancora un valore. Questo festival ha appena ricevuto il premio Andersen che ha riconosciuto il suo valore… Durante questa settimana trascorsa in Calabria ho avuto il piacere di conoscere persone meravigliose come gli organizzatori dell’evento, instancabili nel portarci in giro e coccolarci e ho conosciuto tanti scrittori.
